Separate sealed bids for the construction of BIL WATERLINE REPLACEMENT, SRF PROJECT NO. DWI-L080009-01-0, MDEQ AGREEMENT NO. 86-1-DW-5.15, will be received by the TOWN OF VAIDEN, LOCATED AT 201 MULBERRY ST., VAIDEN, MS 39176 UNTIL 10:00 A.M. ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 19TH, 2025 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

The project consists of the following approximate quantities: 20,000 feet of 6” PVC waterline and other appurtenant items.

The PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following locations:

Contract Documents are issued to potential Bidders from Plan House Printing and Graphics, 607 West Main Street, Tupelo, MS 38804. Bidders may opt to purchase Contract Documents online at www.cceplanroom.com. All payments for Bid Documents are nonrefundable and shall be made payable to Plan House Printing and Graphics, 607 West Main Street, Tupelo, MS 38804.

Bids will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom contract documents have been issued by Plan House Printing, on behalf of the Engineer, and whose name appears on the official list of plan holders maintained by Plan House Printing.

Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs.

This contract is funded in whole or in part by funds from the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2014 (H.R. 3547); therefore, this project must comply with the American Iron and Steel requirements of the Act.

This project is being supported in whole or in part by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), federal award number 86-1-DW-5.15 awarded to Town of Vaiden by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.”

Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids are expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the Drinking Water Systems Improvements Revolving Loan Fund (DWSIRLF) loan program from the State of Mississippi. Neither the State of Mississippi, the Local Governments and Rural Water Systems Improvements Board, the Commission on Environmental Quality nor any of their employees is or any of their employees is or will be a party to this invitation for bids or any resulting or related contracts. This procurement will be subject to all applicable sections of the Mississippi code of 1972, Annotated, as they apply to local governments, in accordance with Appendix D of the DWSIRLF Program Regulations.
