Separate and sealed bids for the construction of CONTRACT 1 – PRESSURE FILTER REHABILITATION, ARPA PROJECT ID: DW-PDC-1 will be received by the TOWN OF MICHIE located at MICHIE TOWN HALL, 6019 TN-22, MICHIE, TN 38357, until 2:00 P.M., L0CAL TIME, JUNE 12, 2025 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
The project consists of the rehabilitation of four (4) existing vertical pressure filters including but not limited to the removal and disposal of filter gravel and media, filter inspection, replacement of filter nozzles, installation of new manways, preparation and painting of the filters interior and new manways, coating inspection and report, furnishing and installing new gravel bed and media, replacement of effluent and backwash flow meters, commissioning, testing, disinfection, startup, and any additional appurtenant items or work.

No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Any questions concerning the bid documents must be received by the Engineer no less than ninety-six (96) hours before bid opening date.
All bidders must comply with and be licensed and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon, as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1976, enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee on March 21, 1976 and as currently amended, TCA 62-6-119, also known as Tennessee House Bill No. 2180. All applicable laws, ordinances and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction of the project shall apply to the contract throughout. A conditional or qualified Bid will not be accepted. Award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive Bidder.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids.
