NOTICE TO CONTACTORS:
Project No. ERBR-SAP-05(58) Benton County, MS. The Board of Supervisors of Benton County, MS will receive bids for the construction of 0.228 miles of Bridge and Approaches to Replace Structure No. SA0500000000047 & SA0500000000048 on Moorehead Road. This project is funded by Mississippi Infrastructure Modernization Act of 2018’s Emergency Road & Bridge Repair Fund. Sealed bids will be received until 9:00 AM on the 21st day of October, 2024 and shortly thereafter publicly opened at the Benton County Courthouse, 190 Ripley Avenue, Ashland, MS. Plans, specifications & contract documents are on file in the Office of the Chancery Clerk of Benton County, Mississippi. Plans, specifications & contract documents may be viewed and/or secured from Kenneth P. Geno, Jr., Engineer of Record of Cook Coggin Engineers, Inc., at www.cceplanroom.com upon payment of $100.00, which is non-refundable. Project information is also available on the website of the Mississippi Office of State Aid Road Construction at www.osarc.ms.gov/bid-calendar-erbf. The award, if made, will be made to the lowest qualified bidder on the basis of qualified quantities. The Board of Supervisors hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration of the award. Bids will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder whose name appears on the official list of Planholders maintained by the Engineer of Record. Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid and such proposal will not be considered in making the award.
