Separate and sealed bids for the construction of SUBDIVISION IMPROVEMENTS -

SCATTERED SITES NO. 16 will be received by the TENNESSEE VALLEY REGIONAL

HOUSING AUTHORITY AT 1210 PROPER STREET, P.O. BOX 1329, CORINTH,

MISSISSIPPI 38835-1329; Phone (662) 286-8437, until 10:30 A.M. on the 22nd DAY OF

JUNE, 2023, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

Project consists of site improvements on multiple sites. The improvements consist of, but

are not limited to, the following: removal of concrete and asphalt, removal of concrete

curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk replacement, concrete driveway replacement, concrete

header curb, linear grading, solid sod placement, water meter box adjustment, sewer

cleanout adjustment, suction hole repair, parking lot stripes, landing removal, landing

replacement, hot mix asphalt pavement, cold milling, adjust manhole top, adjust water

valve box top, concrete arch pipe, concrete junction box, excess excavation, chain link

privacy slats, add sewer cleanout, storm sewer cleaning, storm sewer television

inspection, storm sewer point repair, asphalt pavement sealer, pavement crack sealing,

replace water meter box, trench drain.

A Pre-Bid Conference to discuss the plans and specifications and work to be accomplished

will be held JUNE 7, 2023, AT 9:30 A.M. at the office the TENNESSEE VALLEY

REGIONAL HOUSING AUTHORITY located at 1210 PROPER STREET, CORINTH, MS

38835; (662)286-8437). Contractors bidding on the project are urged to attend.

order Contract Documents online. The only requirement for account registration is a valid

Contract Documents are issued to potential Bidders from Plan House Printing and Graphics,

607 West Main Street, Tupelo, MS 38804. Bidders may opt to purchase Contract

Documents online at www.cceplanroom.com. All payments are non-refundable for Bid

Documents shall be made payable to Plan House Printing and Graphics, 607 West Main

Street, Tupelo, MS 38804.

Bids will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom contract documents

have been issued by Plan House Printing, on behalf of the Engineer, and whose name

appears on the official list of plan holders maintained by Plan House Printing.

The General Contractor submitting bids or being considered for this work shall be licensed

to perform such work by the State in which the work is located and shall submit evidence

of such license before his bid may be opened or considered.

The contract will be awarded as an entire job and individual items will not be let for

separate work.

All Bid Documents shall be sealed in an envelope which shall be clearly marked with the

words “Bid Documents”, any project or other identifying number, the bidder’s name and

date and time for receipt of bids.

Each bidder must deposit with this bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the

conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.

No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening

thereof.

Simultaneously with his delivery of the executed contract, the Contractor shall furnish

surety bonds subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.

All applicable laws, ordinances and the rules and regulations of all authorities having

jurisdiction over construction of the project shall apply to the contract throughout.

Each Bidder is responsible for inspecting the site and for reading and being thoroughly

familiar with the Contract Documents. The failure or omission of any Bidder to do any of

the foregoing shall in no way relieve any Bidder from any obligation in respect to this Bid.

A conditional or qualified Bid will not be accepted. Award will be made to the lowest

responsible, responsive Bidder.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids.
