Separate and sealed bids or electronic bids for construction of a BOONEVILLE/BALDWYN

AIRPORT RUNWAY AND TAXIWAY OVERLAY REBID for the PRENTISS COUNTY BOARD

OF SUPERVISORS, AIP PROJECT NO. 3-28-0008-026-2023, BIL PROJECT NO. 027-2023

will be received by PRENTISS COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS at the COOK COGGIN

ENGINEERS OFFICE located, at 200 HOTEL STREET, BOONEVILLE, MS 38829 until 10:00

A.M., FRIDAY, MAY 19TH, 2023 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and

read aloud. Electronic bids will be received until the designated date and time via electronic

online bid submission through www.cceplanroom.com.

The bid opening will be held at the COOK COGGIN ENGINEERS, INC office located 200

Hotel Street, Booneville, MS 38829 at 10:00 A.M., LOCAL TIME, MAY 19, 2023. Any

bids delivered on the morning of the bid open should be hand delivered to the Cook Coggin

location listed above.

The contract is as follows:

BOONEVILLE/BALDWYN AIRPORT RUNWAY AND TAXIWAY OVERLAY REBID,

AIP PROJECT NO. 3-28-0008-026-2023, BIL PROJECT NO. 027-2023

The project consists of 5,250 linear feet of runway improvements. The improvements

include runway crack repair, scrub seal and overlay with 1 ½” of Hot Mix Asphalt. Tapered

milling to be performed between existing taxiway and runway. All runway markings

included. Additive Alternate No. 1 includes crack repair, scrub seal, and overlay of the

taxiway. All taxiway markings included. Additive Alternate No. 2 includes runway

grooving.

The following Federal Provisions are referenced and will be incorporated within the

contract.

• Davis Bacon – 29 CFR Part 5

• Affirmative Action

Bidders must qualify under Mississippi Law and have a Certificate of Responsibility.

Registering for a free account at www.cceplanroom.com will enable bidders to view and/or

order Contract Documents online and/or complete the electronic bidding process. The only

requirement for account registration is a valid email address. Questions regarding website

registration and online orders shall be directed to Plan House Printing at (662) 407-0193.

Contract Documents are issued to potential Bidders from Plan House Printing and Graphics,

607 West Main Street, Tupelo, MS 38804. Bidders may opt to purchase Contract

Documents online at www.cceplanroom.com. All payments for Bid Documents are nonrefundable

and shall be made payable to Plan House Printing and Graphics, 607 West Main

Street, Tupelo, MS 38804.

Bids will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom contract documents

have been issued by Plan House Printing, on behalf of the Engineer, and whose name

appears on the official list of Planholders maintained by Plan House Printing.

Bids must be submitted on the standard form of bid proposal, and the successful bidder

will be required to execute the standard form of Contract Agreement, together with a

100% Performance Bond and Payment Bond, within ten (10) days after formal award of

the contract.

Bids may be held by the County for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the

opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the bid and investigating the qualifications of

Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.

The PRENTISS COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS reserves the right to reject any and all

bids and to waive any and all information in the best interest of the Owner.
