Sealed Bids for the construction of the WATER & WASTEWATER FACILITIES IMPROVEMENTS CONTRACT 1 will be received by TOWN OF COMO, at the office located at 103 N. MAIN STREET, COMO, MS 38619, until 10:00 A.M. local time on AUGUST 6, 2020, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Project consists of the following approximate bid items and quantities: 10,000 feet of 8‐10” Gravity Sewer Lines, 42 Manholes, 175 GPM Duplex Pump Station, 1,400 feet of 4” Pressure Sewer Line, 370 feet of Roadway Bores, Seven (7) Existing Pump Station Rehabilitations, One (1) Water Tank Alarm Monitoring System and Miscellaneous Appurtenances.

Individual items will not be awarded separately.

The non‐refundable cost of the Bid Documents is $200.00. Bidders may opt to purchase Contract Documents online at All payments for Bid Documents shall be made payable to Plan House Printing and Graphics, 607 West Main Street, Tupelo, MS 38804.

Bids will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom contract documents have been
issued by Plan House Printing, on behalf of the Engineer, and whose name appears on the official list of Planholders maintained by Plan House Printing. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A – Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All listed iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term “iron and steel products” means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction materials.
The deminimis and minor components waiver apply to this project.
