THE HARD COPY PURCHASE AND DIGITAL DOWNLOAD OPTION WILL BECOME AVAILABLE WHEN THE DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE ENGINEER AND HAVE BEEN PLACED ON THE PLAN ROOM

A. Sealed Bids will be received by Cook Coggin Engineers, Inc. on behalf of City of Corinth for

Demolition of Easom School located at the above address before 2:00 pm local daylight time

on the 15th day of August, 2023. Bids should be addressed and either mailed or delivered to:

City of Corinth, 300 Childs Street, Corinth, MS 38834

B. Electronic Bids will also be received until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 15, 2023, via electronic

online bid submission through www.cceplanroom.com.

C. PROCUREMENT OF PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS shall be obtained as

follows;

1. Paper copies may be purchased online from www.cceplanroom.com. Paper copies of

Contract Bid Documents, including Plans and Specifications, are issued to potential

Bidders from:

2. Contract bid documents may also be purchased for electronic download from Plan House

Printing and Graphics for an additional fee.

3. Registering for a free account at www.cceplanroom.com will enable bidders to view

and/or purchase Contract Bid Documents.

D. Bids will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom Contract documents have

been issued by Plan House Printing, on behalf of the Engineer, and whose name appears on

Easom School Demolition 00 1113 - 2 Advertisement for Bids/3-10009

the official list of Plan Holders maintained by the Engineer on behalf of City of Corinth Mayor

and Board of Aldermen.

E. Bidders will be required to provide Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 5%

of the Base Bid.

F. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Section 00 2113 - Instructions to Bidders and

Section 00 3100 - Available Project Information.

G. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as

appropriate, and as allowed by the State of Mississippi Public Bid Laws.

H. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of

30 (thirty) calendar days after submission.

I. The Bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible and best qualified bidder. The

Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities, the right to reject one or all bids and the

option to postpone action and final decision for a period of up to 30 (thirty) calendar days.

J. All bids submitted in excess of $50,000 by a prime or subcontractor to do any erection,

building, construction, repair, maintenance or related work must comply with the Mississippi

Contractors Act of 1985 by securing a Certificate of Responsibility from the Mississippi State

Board of Contractors. The Prime Bidder's Certificate Number must be placed on the outside of

the sealed envelope or the bid will not be opened. Subcontractors requiring a Certificate of

Responsibililty must be listed, including their Certificate of Responsibility Number, on the

Subcontactor List with the Bid.
